P.O.D. On '60 Minutes' This Wednesday
December 7, 2004P.O.D. will be featured on a "60 Minutes" report on spiritual themes in mainstream music airing on the CBS network this Wednesday, December 8, at 8:00 p.m. A short preview of the show can currently be viewed at CBSNews.com.
As previously reported, P.O.D. have commenced work on the follow-up to 2003's "Payable On Death".
According to the group's newsletter, "the new songs are coming out very, very heavy. We're in a place where we can hear from Jah and bring honor to the almighty".
The message alludes to changes happening within the P.O.D. environment but doesn't go into specifics. "This is all we care about right now. Thanks for praying. Something extraordinary is happening with P.O.D. right now."
No timeline has been announced for the completion of the record. However, the band stress that "P.O.D. have built a 12-year career without compromising for anyone."
